The vision and passion behind The Run Hub
I started running in 2015. I can say ten years later, that running changed my life. At the age of 43, I decided to run a 5k. At that time, I had never done any type of cardiovascular exercise in my life. In fact, I was someone who wondered how or why anyone would ever run for enjoyment. But still, in the back of my mind, I suppose it was a "bucket list" item I wanted to complete. Thus, I started my fitness journey. When I started, I could barely make it around a track! Bit by bit and with the help of my first coach, I began to see and feel changes. Crossing that 5k finish line I had a genuine feeling of accomplishment unlike anything I'd ever experienced in my life.
In 2016, I ran my first half marathon, just one year after the first 5k. Then, in 2017, I ran my first marathon, the New York City Marathon and I never looked back. And finally, in 2018, I became an RRCA Certified Coach (Level 1) to inspire and challenge others to move and achieve their wildest dreams. Since starting this journey, I've run numerous races and distances from 5k to ultramarathons all over the world. This includes 21 marathons and 4 ultramarathons. In 2025, I completed the Abbott World Major Marathons - NYC, Chicago, Tokyo, Berlin, London and Boston!
For me, running has been a space where all things become possible to achieve and do. Whether the final result is actually accomplished or if we fall just a bit short is unimportant, what has become most important to me is to try, to go, in the infamous phrase we all know, to just do it!
It is with that spirit, that I created The Run Hub. With our platform runners can design the race travel adventures of their dreams - without the stress and worry that comes with travel planning and race day logistics. You can focus on what matters most: The journey ahead.
I'd love to hear about your race travel experiences and how The Run Hub can help you achieve your running goals.
